Welcome to my personal blog. A few of you might remember me as a consistent blogger going back to when I was the GM of The Wyland Waikiki Hotel and we had a hotel blog that I wrote, Drop Into The Wyland Waikiki. Since then many things have changed in my life and I continued to blog through my personal blog, the one you are reading now. I used the blog to share my experiences whatever they might of been and to launch my speaking endeavors. Well it has been quite a year and I haven’t written in my blog for sometime now.
That is all about to change! I am not sure where my blog will go, but it will continue to share my experiences and hopefully will be entertaining, helpful and something that you will look forward to reading with each new post.
I am committed to start up my writing again and have made that one of my 2011 resolutions. I not only plan on blogging but also on continuing to write my book. Hopefully my blog will launch me into finishing my book and provide enough interest that I can actually get the book published.
So enjoy and I look forward to hearing your comments.

You’re such a gift…looking forward to walking this journey with you through your blog. Thanks for sharing. Love you cuz!
I was just now looking for information about this when I stumbled on your post. I’m only dropping by to say that I really liked seeing this post, it is really clear and well written. Are you thinking of writing more on this? It seems like there is more fodder here for future posts.
Thank you for reading. I will put some post about this over the next year to share my continued follow up. I will still be keeping my blog but will begin writing about other topics. Please share my blog with your network. Aloha
Aloha My dear dear friend & boss Robin,
I read your blog and was so excided to know you are doing fine and have recovered from you PC.
I had cancer in 2003 (breast). I have recovered from it and doing fine, GREATFUL and happy to still be alive and well today. You tend to look at life differently when you got through hardship.
I got an email from Joanie and she gave me you blog site.
If you need help I am available to volunteer. Email me at nanniehook50@hotmail.com.
It was so nice to see Shane on your blog. How old is he now? He as grown so much. I think the last time I saw him he was about 3 or so.
Aloha,
Sue & Bill Hook
P.S. We live on Oahu now.
